Abstract

AbstractThe Nile River runs through the Sahara Desert to create a long and narrow oasis. More than 90% of the Egyptians live in the Nile Valley. The regular floods of the Nile River provided ancient Egyptians with fertile soil and an important water source for agricultural irrigation. So the Upper Egypt and the Lower Egypt are the cradle of ancient Egyptian civilization. The ancient Egyptian civilization lasted for nearly 3,000 years and gradually fell apart and perished around the third century BC when the foreign invasions came waves upon waves.KeywordsThe Nile RiverAncient Egyptian civilizationKing ListPyramidPharaoh
