Abstract
Purpose: The expanded endoscopic endonasal approach to the retroclival space can be used to treat surgically challenging intradural lesions. Being able to predict the precise location of the vertebrobasilar junction (VBJ) and the pontomedullary junction (PMJ) during preoperative planning and the surgical approach helps to avoid problems during surgery.
