Abstract

Abstract Five specimens of Anatanais normani (Richardson, 1905), one of them ovigerous, were collected SE of Bermuda in floating Sargassum natans. They are compared with Richardson's type material and some important features of this are also described. The main difference lies in the smaller size of the Bermuda specimens. Anatanais lineatus (Nordenstam, 1930) is considered a synonym of A, normani (Richardson).
