Abstract

After the end of excavations that took place between 1907 and the late 1940s’ in the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, it was revealed that the western boundary of the Roman Forum was organized by seven small temples, as opposed to the rest of the complex, which consisted of administrative and commercial buildings, giving a special character to the Forum. Although the temples [1] have not been fully identified, they belong to the characteristic examples of Roman architecture, and especially the ones of small temples placed on podiums or the circular monoptera temples, without an alcove like the one dedicated to the Cn. Babbius Philinus.
