Abstract

RATIONALE: Recent increases in food allergy/anaphylaxis and geographical barriers to accessing education have highlighted the need for accurate and consistent information on anaphylaxis management. General practitioners, practice nurses and paediatricians have been identified as key targets for education to assist patient management. Previous primary care surveys have shown both face-to-face teaching and online education as preferred models for provision of education. The aim of this program was to develop anaphylaxis management courses suitable for and accessible by, all health professionals in Australia and New Zealand.
