Abstract

Fruit-related oral allergy syndrome caused by a pollen antigen in orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata) is well known. However, there are few reports of anaphylaxis caused by orchardgrass1 or lemon because of cross-reactivity with orchardgrass2 and no reports of anaphylaxis induced by photosensitivity. A case of a 34-year-old female nursery worker had allergic rhinitis from May to August since the age of 23 years, and allergic conjunctivitis from the age of 25 years. She experienced urticaria because of hypersensitivity several times a year since the age of 20 years.
