Abstract
The analyzing power in neutron-proton elastic scattering at 21.6 MeV was measured using polarized neutrons from the 3H(d, n ) 4 He reaction. The results agree with recent measurements and with revised earlier data in the vicinity of 22 MeV. The combined data give Δ P LLS = (0.847 ±0.019)° and Δ D LS = (0.100±0.008)° and are consistent with predictions made from the Paris potential.
