Abstract
Evaluation of the effectiveness of the 'Cosmo Air Leak Tester' machine and the 'Waterleak' method in detecting leaks in aluminum casting transmission components in the manufacturing process in the automotive industry. Although the 'Cosmo Air Leak Tester' successfully detects large leaks, it has limitations in detecting small leaks such as air bubbles. The research proposed a combination of both methods to improve early leak detection and ensure higher product quality. The research findings highlight the importance of considering cost, cycle time, and safety aspects in the manufacturing process.
