Abstract

The ASF1A and HIRA are histone chaperones highly conserved in many organisms. The protein interactions between ASF1a and HIRA and their role in plant development are not understood in Arabidopsis thaliana. Here, we present our attempt to generate mutations at ASF1a and HIRA genes using CRISPR/Cas9 technology and analyze their interactions through computational molecular biology. Our current efforts focus on preliminary sequence analyses, CRISPR/Cas9 system preparation, and transgene delivery.
