Abstract

Since linguistics aids in the explanation of English grammar to students, it is essential in English teaching. Every language has a set of grammatical rules that are taught in terms of syntax, semantics, phonology, and morphology. Nevertheless, the study of psychology, education, cognitive science, anthropology, language acquisition, sociology, bilingualism, and fourth language instruction should all be included in the teaching of English. It's critical for teachers to know their students in order to establish welcoming classroom environments. The instructor should be able to put himself in the shoes of the pupils and show them empathy and patience. The overall goal of teaching English to pupils is to enable them to communicate effectively and responsibly in both written and conversational modes.
