Abstract
Bint-i-Dahir is latest and famous novel of Safdar Zaidi. Safdar Zaidi is a contemporary novel writer settled in Holand. Bint-i-Dahir is his 3rd novel that is a historical novel. The Locale of this novel is ancient Sindh. In this Novel writer present the history of Sindh with a different perspective. In this novel he depicted the occupation of Sindh by Muslisms (Arabs) was an imperial act. He denies the verifiable occurrence as per which Hajjaj container Yusuf assault in Sindh on the voice of a Bedouin lady who was caught by Sindhi privateers. As per the writer, the primary justification for going after Sindh was more monetary than religious. In the novel, Hajjaj receptacle Yusuf shows up as a horrible and harsh head ruler. Maharaja Dahar is portrayed as a bold, gallant, edified and generous ruler. Receptacle Qasim is a youthful armed force commandant who is a loving and delicate individual; he is by all accounts went against to low mistreatment of persecuted and vanquished countries. Raj kumari Surya is the primary character of the Novel. She is Rajkumari and the elder girl of MahaRaja Dahar, she is a courageous, instructed, Cognizant and bold woman. The Raj Kumari is seen addressing and discussing each religion yet not against the adherents of any religion. She has confidence in discourse. The plot of the novel is not very complicated and the procedure is near the method of darma.
