Abstract

The hard sphere M Yukawa fluid is considered as a model for a colloidal fluid. On the basis of the mean spherical approximation solution of the Ornstein-Zernike equation, for the case of the closure relation consisting of the sum of the M Yukawa terms with the factorizable coefficients, compact and useful expressions of static structure factors are presented. The expressions are tractable for the hard sphere M Yukawa fluid with intrinsic size and interaction polydispersities as well as for the fluid with an arbitrary number of components.
