Abstract

There are several bones and cartilage health supplements are available in the market that are commonly used by people especially the elderly people. Several common therapeutic properties mentioned by the manufacturer although it is likely that these products contain some chemical and anti-inflammatory agents that are not mentioned in the labels. There are several analytical methods have been reported to identify these chemicals and anti-inflammatory drugs in bone and cartilage health supplements. The basic aim of this review is to summarize the various analytical techniques utilized to identify some corticosteroids in these supplements.
