Abstract

We present an analytical model of galaxy formation in hierarchical cosmogonies with new prescriptions for the clustering of dark matter halos, their internal structure, and the modelling of galaxies. These improvements with respect to current semi-analytical models allows us, respectively, to follow more accurately the evolution of halos, to study the spatial segregation of galactic properties within clusters, and to obtain more confident predictions on the Tully-Fisher and the Fundamental Plane relations.
