Abstract
An analytical model of the process of steam-assisted gravity drainage in an element of the superviscous oil pool development has been constructed. The influence of the bed permeability anisotropy on the production rate of a producing horizontal well and cumulative steam–oil ratio has been investigated. A comparison of the calculated output of a horizontal well by the proposed model with the results of physical modeling of the process of steamassisted gravity drainage has been made.
