Abstract

Based on the magnetic force analytical model of two parallel permanent magnets(PM), the analytical model of magnetic force and stiffness was established for reversal magnetization axial stack permanent magnetic bearings(PMB). the relationship between axial and radial stiffness and configuration parameters of reversal magnetization axial stack PMB was analyzed. The validity of the analytical model was verified by ANSYS simulation. The results indicates that the stiffness of reversal magnetization axial stack PMB is proportion to the magnetic annular average perimeter and the square of residual magnetism induction density, the axial and radial stiffness increased with the increase of radial width and axial length of magnetic ring.
