Abstract
The development trends of meat processing enterprises of Ukraine in three main directions (the analysis of efficiency indicators of production resource use, analysis of financial resources use efficiency and the analysis of indicators of business activity level) by grouping them according to sales profitability level are revealed in the article. The analytical evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of meat processing industry is carried out in the work. This gave the opportunity to identify priority ways of further development of the investigated business entities to enhance the effectiveness of their industrial and financial activity, and to strengthen their financial stability. Relevant activities to further enhance the functioning efficiency of meat processing enterprises are suggested
