Abstract

Studies have been carried out to assess the properties of electromagnetic fields used in the disinfection of grain and seeds. Cause-and-effect relationships between the non-monochromaticity of the field and the shortcomings of microwave and other methods of disinfection have been established. For a better result, it is proposed to use monochromatic working fields, the advantages of which are demonstrated by the example of a new method of resonant low-frequency disinfection. An analysis of the electric and magnetic components of the field in the output device was performed, based on the results of which an effective technical solution based on the electric component was proposed. The superiority of a device with an electrical component over a solenoid has been experimentally confirmed.
