Abstract

This report covers analytical applications of polarimetry, optical rotatory dispersion, and circular dichroism. Neil Purdie and Kathy A. Swallows of Oklahoma State University describe the basis of chiroptical detection, its use for LC detection, and applications in forensic science, clinical chemistry, the pharmaceutical sciences, and agricultural and food chemistry.
