Abstract
A simple formula for the semiclassical series for the general polynomial potential V( x)= x 2 N + β 1 x 2 N−1 + β 2 x 2 N−2 +⋯+ β 2 N−1 x is obtained. Almost explicit formula for asymptotic eigenenergy expansion (similar to Robnik's WKB formula for x 2 N potential) is obtained for the above potentials for any N. This formula contains parameters of the potential N, β 1, β 2,…, β 2 N−1 explicitly.
