Abstract

Expansions in the new variable suggested previously (by consideration of scaling-plane analyticity) are obtained for the deep-inelastic structure functions ($\ensuremath{\nu}{W}_{2}^{p}\ensuremath{-}\ensuremath{\nu}{W}_{2}^{n}$) and $\ensuremath{\nu}{W}_{2}^{n}$. The resulting minimum-${\ensuremath{\chi}}^{2}$ fits to the MIT-SLAC data favor an ${F}_{2}^{n}$ which monotonically decreases at large $\ensuremath{\omega}$.
