Abstract

According to the heat transfer theory, take the phase change between water and ice into consideration, this paper establishes the mathematical mechanics model and provides a numerical analysis for the temperature field of the roadbed in the frozen area , which is based on the finite element software of multi-physical coupling simulation(geo-slope).Through the finite element numerical simulation, this paper has got the features of the temperature change of a practical permafrost roadbed in five years. And the results show that, in the cross section of the roadbed, temperature changes take place at 5.0~6.0 meters below the surface and sharp phase transition occurs at the 1.0 ~ 3.0 meters subsurface, which is consistent with the actual data. Hope that the results of this study could provide theoretical support for the design, construction and maintenance of the frozen roadbed in permafrost area.
