Abstract

Objective To explore the relationships between serum uric acid(SUA) concentration and blood - sugar, blood lipid, and blood - pressure in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods Eighty -four patients suffering from chronic heart failure were used as the observation group and another 84 healthy people with normal heart function as the control group. The SUA, blood -pressure, fasting blood- glucose, blood- lipid including cholesterol, three acids glyceride, high -density lipo- protein, and low- density lipo- protein were determined in two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the patients with chronic heart failure have higher incidence in high SUA, high choles-terol, high blood - pressure, and abnormality in blood - sugar and blood - lipid. ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusions High SUA is relative to blood - sugar, blood - lipid, and blood - pressure in patients with chronic heart failure.
