Abstract

In recent years, the lithium-sulfur battery has developed rapidly, but it still faces some problems in application. This paper mainly introduces the method of improving the performance of lithium-sulfur battery by using nitrogen doped graphene aerogel. Graphene aerogel has high conductivity and stable properties and can be used as a carrier. Nitrogen mainly increases the adsorption site of sulfur. Therefore, nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel is mostly used in the positive electrode of lithium-sulfur battery. At present, the key problem is to find the best nitrogen doping method to improve the performance of lithium-sulfur batteries and the structure of nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel. This paper describes some methods of nitrogen doping into graphene aerogels and the application of different structures of nitrogen-doped graphene aerogels in lithium-sulfur batteries. In general, choosing the proper nitrogen source of nitrogen-doped aerogel and improving the structure of compounds inside lithium-sulfur batteries are the keys to improve the performance of lithium sulfur batteries.
