Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effects of small dose aminophylline combined with budesonide in the treatment of severe chronic obstrtactive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients. Methods Forty-eight cases of severe COPD patients were treated from January 2013 to December 2013 in our hospital, according to the different treatment schemes were divided into observation group and control group, 24 cases in each group. The observation group was given small dose aminophylline and budesonide, while the control group was treated with budesonide. To observe the change of the effective rate and exercise tolerance in patients of the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment group was 91.67% ,higher than 62.50%of the control group was, there was significant difference (P 〈0.05). Exercise tolerance test by 6 minutes walk disttmce (6MWD), two groups of 6MWD had no significant difference (P 〉 0.05) before treatment and after treatment, 6MWD of the observation group was (345.97±20.35) m after treatment, significantlly higher than (304.99±18.32) m of the control group, there was significant difference ( P 〈0.05). After treatment, MRC score in the observation group was (3.56±0.58) ,was significantly higher than that in control group (4.11±0.65) ,there was significant difference ( P〈0.05). Conclusions Small dose aminophylline budesonide has a good clinical efficacy in the treatment of patients with severe COPD, and can effectively improve the exercise tolerance in patients, improve the quality of life, and is worthy of clinical application. Key words: Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; Aminophylline; Budesonide
