Abstract

This paper analyzes the effects of R&D investment and human capital on technology spillovers of FDI theoretically, and then constructs the model to analyze the effect in the use of the data from 2000 to 2010 econometrically. The results show that investment in R&D and human capital are important factors to affect technology spillover effect of FDI. The investment in R&D promotes technology spillover effect of FDI, while the lack of manpower resources reserve restricts it. In order to improve technical level and economic growth from the technology spillover effect of FDI, china should persistently increase the input of R&D and human resources reserve, so as to form the positive interaction between technology spillover effect and economic growth.
