Abstract

Under the conditions of the global warming, the occurrence frequency and the intensity of the typhoon have an increasing trend in recent years, which has a great impact on the urban architecture, the municipal facilities and the natural ecological environment in the coastal cities. The monitoring and loss assessment after the typhoon disaster is an important basis for the scientific decision-making in the disaster prevention, mitigation and reconstruction. The traditional artificial method of outdoor investigation after the disasters needs a lot of manpower, material resources. And it also has the inefficiency and the risk. In this paper, taken the Jimei Street in Xiamen City after the typhoon disaster as the research area and taken the data monitoring and the recovery status after the disaster as the research background. We took advantage of the UAV aerial imagery and did the post-disaster imagery data analysis which was based on ArcGIS. Then we established the image interpretation marks of the multi-objective disaster affected bodies and outputted the interpretation results. It could intuitively and accurately reflect the disaster loss status, and finally it could realize the disaster data visualization; Based on the Model Builder, we did the roughly screen of the surface features with the multi-period DSM and DOM data in the different time periods. Based on the vector data and the DSM raster data, we did the precisely and quickly statistical analysis for the ecological restoration status and reconstruction of the building houses, the vegetation areas and the road vegetation in different periods. In the end, the recovery effect of the natural ecological environment after the disaster was got. The research results shows that based the UAV image data can quickly assess and analyze the disaster areas' loss and disaster recovery. It could provide the technical support and the decision support for the urban disaster emergency rescue, for the ecological restoration monitoring and for the urban planning and the restoration.
