Analysis on Poisson’s Ratio of Linear Viscoelastic Solids

Abstract

The Poisson’s ratio is the absolute value of the ratio of transverse strain to axial strain under simple tension or compression, which can reflect the transverse deformation of the solid. Viscoelastic mechanics is to establish the constitutive relationship of stress and deformation components on the premise of fully reflecting the viscous characteristics of materials, so as to solve the problem of stress and deformation analysis.
