Abstract

High speed wind noise is an important part of the vehicle NVH performance,it is an important factor for vehicle high speed; It affects the communication between passengers (AI%). The car with better design has only slightly the feeling of wind in 120 km/h. This paper uses CAE simulation analysis method to modify and optimize and reasonably lay out and design the mirror surface modeling and to guide the wind tunnel test and road test verification. A good combination of CAE and test forms a set of complete guidance and design and tuning method of high speed wind noise. The CAE analysis results are compared with the experimental results to predict and get modeling scheme to determine the development of car rearview mirror and location The measured wind tunnel test and road test together complete the test to verify the validity of the seal, seal mirror installation after optimization. For other models of the same platform development and subsequent models must learn from the experience and guidance, to avoid the design and layout of the mirror caused by unreasonable high speed wind noise.
