Abstract
This paper analyzed the necessity and feasibility of combining postgraduate education program for clinical medicine major with standardized residency training. Detailed measures for strength- ening the link included specifying the applicants＇ academic background, improving the validity of the second-round admission test, revising the master degree training program, applying the flexible teaching management, transforming the supervisor recruitment and incentive mechanism, optimizing applicant re- quirements for the medical licensing examination, etc. All these measures were intended to improve the quality of talent cultivation in clinical medicine.
