Abstract
Objective To analyze the status and problems of four-year undergraduate nursing curriculum so as to provide reference for further reform and consummating. Methods Statistical analysis was conducted through number of eourses, number of classes and proportion of courses setting on nursing eurric of 44 medical schools. Results It was found that 41.91 ± 4. 97 courses were set, the total teaching hours classes was 2 878.98 ± 374. 03, the proportion of common basic science courses, basic medical science courses and nursing courses was 1∶1.09∶ 1.31. Ratio of classroomteaching to practice was 2. 55∶ 1. Conchusions Many types of nursing courses have been set, the core courses in every university are similar and set commonly. However, those courses standing for the development of nursing profession are set rarely.The teaching hours of basic science and basic medical science possess great proportion, but their practice classes possess less.
