Abstract
According to the opening sequence of air inlet port cover and entrance closure, two opening methods were studied by numerical simulation. Dynamic characteristics, start time and pressure peak in the inlet were acquired. Results show the method of air inlet port cover opened first and entrance closure opened later has the advantage of shorter start time and lower pressure peak, which is of benefit to the transition of the solid rocket ramjet. Furthermore the results are valuable for the transition sequence selectness and inlet structure design.
