Abstract

Objective To investigate the comprehensive influence on the curative effect of surgical treatment of ar-terial embolization in the extremities. Methods Retrospective analysis was made on 46 cases with acute four-limb arterial embolization by an integrated treatment using thrombectomy with Fogarty catheter, intra-arterial infusion of urokinase dur-ing operation, and postoperative anticoagulation, thrombolytic therapy. Results Thirty-five cases were cured after com-prehensive treatment, amputation was performed in 3 cases, and cut-off toe in 6 cases, 2 patients with rheumatic heart disease died of a heart attack in the next clay after surgery. Conclusions The open artery embolectomy is an effective way to treat the limb arterial embolization. The clear preoperative diagnosis, intraoperative thrombosis completely removed and operating skills to deal with after a reasonable and effective control of postoperative complications is a good effect key.
