Abstract
The problem of determining the singularities of theS-matrix for a given angular momentum in thek-plane, is reduced to an eigenvalue problem for compact operators. In particular we examine the dependence of the position of singularities on the strength of the potential. The position of the antibound states is connected in a simple way to that of the bound states and explicit bounds are given for the position of the resonances.
