Abstract
Anthropogenic activities such as fishing, fish ponds, and domestic trash contribute the most to the water quality of the Cengklik reservoir. This research aimed to analyze the water quality status and Pollution Index of the Cengklik reservoir. Water quality status was calculated by using the Pollution Index method. The results indicated that the water quality of the Cengklik Reservoir is strongly influenced by the sources of water pollutants and the surrounding area's ambient conditions. The results revealed that the water quality at the inlet is lightly polluted, with pollutant index values (Pij) of 2.56 at the inlet (CI1) and 4.02 at the inlet (CI2).
