Abstract
AbstractResults of a new direct numerical simulation (DNS) for the Rayleigh‐Bénard convection at Prandtl number Pr = 0.025 and Rayleigh number Ra = 100,000 are used to analyse the turbulent diffusion term in the transport equation for the temperature variance dissipation rate.
