Abstract

Fundamentals of a method for the analysis of transport flows in a megapolis vehicle network from the data of a mobile network operator are considered. A model allowing an approximate calculation of the motion velocity in sections of a megapolis road network and estimation of the congestion of these sections is proposed. The method is implemented on the GIS GeoTime 3 platform. Experimental results for the road network of Moscow city and Moscow region are discussed.
