Abstract

This paper investigates the performance analysis of 4CPFSK-based Rotating-magnet Based Mechanical Antenna (RMBMA) for the first time. Based on the framework of 4CPFSKbased RMBMA, the information loading strategy is proposed, such that the impacts of the step response induced by the motor on the information loading are characterized. Finally, numerical simulations using realistic system model demonstrate the validity of the proposed performance analysis. Simulation results show that the best information transmission quality can be obtained when the feedback braking control strategy is adopted with the modulation factor of 4CPFSK is 0.75. Compared with MSK-based RMBMA, 4CPFSK-based RMBMA has double information transmission rate with a close bit error rate.
