Abstract
Rayleigh Ritz method is used to analyze the time period of natural vibration of isotropic visco elastic square plate with circular variation in thickness and Poisson’s ratio on clamped and simply supported edge conditions. The density and temperature variation on the plate is considered as linear, in one dimension and two dimensions respectively. Frequency equation and time period is obtained for different variation of plate parameters such as thickness, non homogeneity and thermal gradient.
