Abstract

The structure of the textured strip substrates made of binary Cu–Fe and Cu–Cr alloys and subjected to additional annealing in the temperature range 400–600°C is studied by electron microscopy. The dependence of the microhardness on the temperature of aging of textured strips made of Cu–1.6 at % Fe and Cu–0.4 at % Cr alloys is analyzed. The maximum strength is found to be reached in these textured strips after aging at 500°C. The obtained results can be used to recommend the temperature conditions of deposition of buffer and supercooling layers in the 2G HTSC technology onto strip substrates made of these alloys.
