Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the state of the machine and tractor fleet of agricultural enterprises in the North Kazakhstan region and the pace of its renewal for 2015-2021, which showed a positive trend. According to the literature review, the solution to the problem of achieving food security in Kazakhstan is directly related to the level of technical equipment of farmers, the modernization of agricultural machinery, and the formation and development of the agricultural machinery market. Despite the successful implementation of various government programs, there are still many unresolved problems in updating the agriculture infrastructure and developing the agro-industrial complex's material and technical base. The study of the fleet of the main types of agricultural machinery in Northern Kazakhstan made it possible to determine the positive dynamics.
