Abstract

The effectiveness of the spinning production’s clearing and blending process was studied in the work. The lock mass Y1, the impurities mass Y2 and the lock density Y3 were selected as clearing and blending process’ efficiency factor. The coefficient Cp influence on the values of Y1, Y2, Y3 was studied more detail. In a similar way, the effect of the foreign impurities’ maximum content gMax on the locks’ average indicators Y1, Y2, Y3 was studied. It has been established that the locks’ mass most depends on the locks’ kinetic energy. The higher the locks’ speed and mass, the more it is subject to impurities’ blending and extracting. The locks’ size and number should optimally correlate with the working area’s size. When we fill the working area with fiber mass, the clearing and blending degree decreases. On the contrary, with a fiber mass’s rarefied flow, the clearing and blending efficiency becomes greater, but the equipment productivity decreases. The smaller the locks’ mass, the lower their interaction likelihood with the working parts, the cleaning degree is lower.
