Abstract

본 연구는 학교 안전교육 7대 표준안에 관한 공립 유치원 교사의 인식과 실태를 분석해 봄으로써 유치원 현장에 적합한 안전 교육에 관한 고찰을 하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 교사들은 학교안전교육 7대 표준안의 내용은 중요하다고 인식하고 있었으나, 영역별 하위개념에 따른 내용중요도 인식순서에는 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 교사들의 교직경력ㆍ연령ㆍ최종학력이 모두 높을수록 단위활동 안전교육실시에 관해 ‘부적합하다’는 인식이 늘어났다. 셋째, 교사들의 학교 안전교육 7대 표준안의 자료 활용 실태는 낮은 수준이었다. 넷째, 교사들의 학교 안전교육 7대 표준안의 단위활동 안전교육 실시여부는 안전교육을 실시하고 있는 교사의 수가 미실시하는 교사의 수보다 많았지만 차이는 크지 않았다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 유치원 현장에 적합한 유아 안전교육의 지침이 마련되길 바라며, 7대 표준안의 각 영역에 대한 심도 깊은 연구가 이루어지길 제안한다.The purpose of this study is to provide data of safety education guideline appropriate for kindergarten settings by analyzing recognition of public kindergarten teachers and the actual condition regarding school safety education 7th standard methodology. The results of this study are as follows. First, although most of the teachers recognized the importance of the contents of school safety education 7th standard methodology, they had different opinions on priorities of the contents. Second, the teachers tended to recognize the unit activities of safety education as ‘unsuitable’ rather than ‘suitable,’ and their teaching experience, age and education level were positively related with negative recognition of suitability of the unit activities of safety education. Third, the usage level of data of school safety education 7th standard methodology was low, probably because the 7th standard methodology was still in the initial phase. Fourth, whether the teachers implemented the unit activity of safety education of school safety education 7th standard methodology varied depending on their priority between ‘safety education in the form of unit activity’ and ‘safety education in the form of life guidance,’ and there was no significant difference of the number of teachers either who implemented safety education or who did not. Based on the results, it is expected that effective guideline of safety education would be established in kindergarten settings.
