Abstract

Radar ambiguity function plays an important role in radar detection; it can give an idea about how different radar waveforms may be suitable for various radar applications. In this paper, we will tackle the complementary set design problems in which low sidelobe (SL) rejection of the ambiguity function is of interest. Sequences with low sidelobe (SL) rejection are necessary to reduce the noise and to increase the ability of radars to detect multiple targets. Simulation results are provided to show the performance of our new proposed complementary set shaping.
