Abstract

This article actualizes the aspects of the problems of using visual content in a pedagogical product. Several results of research on the visual content of contemporary pedagogical products placed on the Internet are presented. The visual content assessment model based on three filters is proposed. According to the physical filter the visual elements composition must satisfy the capacity of the pupil's visual channel. The semantic filter determines the accordance of visual content to his knowledge level. A pragmatic filter should evaluate the image in terms of its usefulness for a certain educational process subject, its suitability for solving a certain task.
