Abstract

The Main Dolomite is one of the most perspective reservoirs in Poland. The subject of the analysis was well logging and seismic data integration in order to determine the Main Dolomite zonation in lagoonal sedimentation area. Well logging interpretation characterised petrophysical parameters in quantity. Seismic inversion presented the distribution of the parameters in vertical and horizontal scale. There were made statistical calculations of petrophysical parameters, 2-D crossplots and seismic inversion. The central part of the Main Dolomite indicated the best reservoir properties. High porosity values and low P-wave velocity, density and water saturation values were observed in the analysed zone. Core analysis confirmed the occurrence of the gas.
