Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of mass transfer processes between the reactor and the containment of a WWER reactor in case of a loss of coolant accident (LOCA). The effect of the differential pressure arising due to the difference in the densities of the media in the primary circuit and in the containment on mass transfer is considered. A description of the HA-2M test facility used for the study of process between the containment and the reactor is given. The results of analysis of the experimental data are presented.
