Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of locus of control on individual work ethics in higher education student character organizations.The method used in this research is qualitative.The data source in this reasearch uses secondary data including collection,analysis and interpretation of data that has been carried out by the parties.Data collection was carried out from sites or journals in the media and then supported by theories from various literature.The results showed that locus of control was proven to have a significant impact on individual work ethics in an organizational context.When compared with individuals who have a locus of external control,individuals with an internal locus of control generally have a better work ethic.Using case studies on students,it can be said that the university environment plays a role in students’ locus of control and work ethic.
