Abstract

An approach to diagnostics of the operability of frequency-controlled electrical machines (EM) based on the analysis of the distribution of external electromagnetic radiation (EEMR) is proposed. Damage in the EM causes a change in the distribution of the EEMR. Spectral analysis of changes in the temporal and spatial harmonics of EEMR of frequency-controlled EM expands the field of diagnostic signs of EM damage, the possibility of determining the technical state of EM.
