Abstract
Near field communication (NFC)provides an efficient approach for shot distance transmission. The technologies make use of 13.56mMHz radio wave and loop antenna. As we know if NFC antenna need to be placed on metallic surface in a small casing, the magnetic field will be attenuated. So, transmission distance will be reduced drastically. Using ferrite sheet in between the NFC antenna and the metal surface can counter the metallic surface effect on the NFC antenna. In order to reduce the cost of ferrite sheet, this paper show the influence of the periodic structure of the ferrite sheet on the antenna.
